Out of all the projects we did this summer in 3D class the traveling structure was the one that I learned a whole bunch about. Each time I had to come up with more and more ways on how to cover the monster truck without blocking the wheels from rolling. I failed multiple times and there were times I wanted to give up and just throw the monster truck out of the window. But I eventually found a way a to cover the wheels and still managed to move the wheels. My biggest inspiration behind the traveling structure was Pablo Picasso. Picasso is one of my favorite artists of all time because he did not give a damn about what the structure looked like, he just let himself go and let his work speak for itself.
The water fountain replica assignment was definitely not one of my favorite projects we were assigned. However, I did learn a lot when I began constructing the water fountain. I learned how to gather precise measurements that I had measured beforehand. My water fountain had a bunch of duct tape. The reasoning behind the duct tape is because my structure was not strong enough from only cardboard, so I had to use a ton of duct to keep it from falling. Also I learned that duct tape can take you a long way. Research Part III: |
